Coaching Agreement

Thank you for choosing to journey with AnchorPoint. It’s our privilege to walk alongside you as you pursue clarity, growth, and purpose in your leadership and life. This agreement sets out how we’ll work together and ensures we start on the same page with shared understanding and mutual expectations.


What is Coaching?

At AnchorPoint, coaching is a purposeful, collaborative process grounded in trust and inquiry. It empowers you to reflect, take action, and move forward with intention. Coaching is not about giving answers, but creating space for meaningful questions, deeper insights, and practical steps.

Your coach is not the expert on your life—you are. Our role is to support your process, challenge you with care, and help you align your actions with what matters most to you.


Our Responsibilities

As your coach, I commit to:

  • Creating a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment
  • Asking thoughtful questions and offering honest feedback
  • Helping you explore fresh perspectives and possibilities
  • Supporting your goals with integrity and confidentiality

As a client, we invite you to:

  • Commit fully to your coaching goals
  • Be open to feedback and willing to explore new approaches
  • Practice transparency about what’s helpful and what’s not
  • Take ownership of your decisions, actions, and outcomes

Coaching is a partnership, not a dependency. You remain responsible for your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being, decisions, and results.

Please note: Coaching is not counselling or therapy. Nor does it substitute for financial, legal, or other professional advice.


Confidentiality

All coaching conversations are strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law (e.g. risk of harm, illegal activity, or legal obligation such as a subpoena). Outside of these rare circumstances, your privacy will be fully respected.


How We’ll Work Together

Session Preparation
To get the most from each session, please reflect in advance on your recent progress and any key areas you’d like to explore.

Session Logistics
Coaching sessions will be scheduled in advance and held in-person, via phone or video call. If held remotely and unless otherwise arranged, the client initiates the call from a quiet, private space. Occasional brief check-ins by phone or email between sessions are welcomed.


Fees & Payment

Fees and scope of engagement will be confirmed separately before we begin. Unless arranged otherwise, payment is required prior to the first session.

If any part of the agreement is unclear, please let us know before commencement.


Cancellations & Changes

If you need to reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Sessions missed without notice or arriving over 15 minutes late may be forfeited.

You may end coaching at any time. For multi-session packages, a fair refund will be issued based on remaining unused sessions, excluding any non-refundable deposits. Engagements automatically conclude 90 days after the agreed end date unless otherwise extended in writing.


Feedback & Next Steps

At the end of your coaching engagement, we’ll invite your feedback. Your insights help us improve and serve others better. If you’ve benefited from coaching, we warmly welcome referrals to others who may find value in this journey.
