I’ve watched too many organisations fall short of what they’re capable of – not because of bad strategy, but because of disconnection.
Between leaders and the people they lead. Between mission and the people they exist to serve. Between what looks impressive and what actually changes anything.
That gap is what AnchorPoint exists to close.

I’m Ester – founder of AnchorPoint Coaching and Consultancy, and the person you’ll work with throughout every engagement.
My career has taken me across some of the most demanding environments. I’ve worked in aviation and government in crisis and emergency management, safety and leadership development. One of the most formative chapters was at Cathay Pacific, where I had the privilege of building and leading their Care team – a large, international volunteer group dedicated to supporting customers and families during aviation emergencies. That role shaped everything I now believe about leadership: that clarity, trust, empathy, and shared purpose are not soft skills. Under real pressure, they are the only skills that hold.
To me, an anchor is a steadfast connection to purpose and values – a source of stability and drive through every tide of life.
Alongside that corporate journey, I’ve spent over 25 years serving in church leadership – as a youth leader, ministry team member, and contributor to leadership teams across different church communities. That experience has given me a deep appreciation of what it takes to lead organisations that run on purpose rather than profit – and the unique challenges that come with it.
AnchorPoint sits at the intersection of those two worlds. But what drives that work isn’t the methodology- it’s something simpler than that.
I’ve seen what happens when an entire team – not just the leader – finds clarity about where they are going and why it matters. When people stop wondering whether the hard work will be worth it and start believing it will. When a shared sense of direction, shared ownership, and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing you belong to something with real purpose.
That moment – that shift – is what I’m working toward in every engagement. The framework is just the path to get there.
